This will be a great list if enough people contribute, it doesn’t matter how much you lift! It doesn’t matter how strong you are. Get yourself on the list and try and beat the person one up. If you’re at the top, try and remain there.
If your lifts improve I’ll update it.
Please post the maximum weight that you can lift in these three lifts, and I will add it to the table.

Bench press aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaTest of upper body strength
Squat aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaTest of lower body strength
DeadliftaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaTest of whole body strength

For a description of how to do these lifts, check these links

Squat
http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Glu ... Squat.html
Bench press
http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Pec ... Press.html
Dead lift
http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Glu ... dlift.html

If you are interested in finding out your Wilk's co-efficient use the link below
http://www.usapowerlifting.com/liftersc ... ndex.shtml

Rules

1.Lifter must be vegan

2.The three lifts are based on RAW powerlifting rules. Therefore make sure squat is to at least parallel level, bench press bar touches the chest in the bottom position and that glutes stay on the bench and feet on the floor during the lift.

3.Equipment allowed
Chalk
Belt
Wrist wraps

Not allowed
Squat suits or bench shirts
Knee wraps
Lifting straps

4.Please state:
Sex
Weight
Amount lifted

5.Please state your 1 repetition max lift (1RM). If you don't know your 1RM you can either go and test it! or just state the maximum weight that you have lifted, even if you can do more than one rep.

Please take care when attempting these lifts, they will require a spotter.

Remember we are stronger than the average person. Just post the info and I’ll work everything out and add it to the table.

Jonathan (thankyou oak for the original text - i just copied and pasted!)

Hi Everybody!

New table for 2007. It is very much the same as it was last year, with some editting to take into account people changing their user names, and the addition of some wilks data. I have only done the top 20 male lifters, and top 10 female lifters (as well as the overall best squatters, benchers and deadlifters) as it takes a really long time. If anyone wants to see more data, I can work it out if you ask :D

Enjoy, and let there be lifting!

I'm afraid that benching has to be with a barbell! Good benching nevertheless!

I have two pbs to post. I had a max out session today on all three power lifts. I haven't trained off the floor deadlifting in over 6 weeks, but I was strong in that. For some reason I was as weak as a little girl benching and made no improvement.

Squat - 165kg - 5kg improvement

Deadlift - 235kg - 10kg improvement

Very happy with both of these, as it took me 2 attempts with the squat, and the deadlift was also conventional, rather than the usual sumo style.

It's not my last word. In two weeks I will test my PBs again. And I feel it already that I will jump over Anton.

By the way, cool new photo. You don't look like a wimpy vegan. 8)
