Physique contest photos are up - vote for the winners!

Postby VeganEssentials » Mon Oct 24, 2005 9:11 am

After all this time, the contest is now totally completed and I have photos of the 4 people whose before and after pics I have gotten. There are prizes for all competitiors featured here so nobody will be left out, but someone will come out with a $75 gift certificate to VeganEssentials.com at the top, so cast your votes here!

First up, we have Tyler - the "before" pics are at left, the "after shots are at right for these two sets:

Next, we have Noah, whose top picture is the "before" image and the bottom 3 are all of his "after" shots:

Up next, we have David - again, same format with images at left being the more recent shots:

Finally, we have Daniel's pics that were recently posted in his log, before is at left and after shots at right again:

Congratulations again to all who entered - you all did great, and we'll be taking votes through November 1st to see who gets which place. Good luck, everyone!

More recent at left? You mean, at right?

Anyway.
There are some changes in the pics that might not be due to workout and nutrition ;)
I think Tyler has the best improvement tattoo-wise :D
David seems to have shaved (good choice! ) and Daniel suddenly has glasses...

Noah seems to have made good progress, but the pics are hard to compare.

Good job, everyone! :D

Damn, I have gained more size since then in my shoulders, arms and lats, oh well :D

Great improvements all around, though personally I don't see a big difference in my photos, though my strength went up a LOT in that time period.

Noah, looks like you toned up and lowered your bodyfat %

David, definate improvement, hopefully now that you are back to lifting heavy again there will be even more improvements!

And Daniel, my vote went to you, nice improvements all around (though maybe it is just the tan
 )

i pretty much just dropped some bodyfat. because of the injuries i went through the difference between the 2 pics is me less 10 lbs. and the biggest difference, i had someone take the 2nd set of pics for me instead of the self portaits.

ok, this is not easy.

tyler showed true sportsmanship for voting someone else than himself :D Though i think you should get 5$ for best improved tattoos ;) I reckon you being so tall you have to put on crazy amounts of muscle to show improvement.

Good progress there from david/wannalift, definitely much more muscle definition in the last two pics especially.

Also good progress from hannibal, though i think because the photos are very different this works against you mate.

daniels progress has been great, though with a low bodyfat to start with it is hard to say if it is better or not than davids progress.

so my vote goes to XXX ;)

hi to all,

:)

i think tylers fotos are nor optimal for that competition. these poses are not good for seeing muscle gains,.. eg at the double biceps pose it not possible to flex the back,...
also the tatoos are an disadvantage because there shadows and the surface isnt visible,..

i voted for noah, cos he lost fat and gained shape most, althogh the first pics isnt perfect,...

i liked david 2nd most, also very noticeable gains there and loss of fat

and it seems like daniel has the most votes

but really good to all 4!

we have 4 winers for braveness award ;)

Thanks, now I don't feel so bad about getting any votes

I really don't look much different in the photos, though I think in that time period I put on 150+ lb. onto my deadlift, squat and bench, so I was doing something right. I lift for strength, not size, and as JP mentioned, it is hard for me to gain much size because of my height. And my tattoos do hide so much definition, photos of my back you cannot see any of the definition unless the lighting is just so. So those are my excuses :D

don't sweat it tyler, you definitely got the most strongest award. i would have voted for noah also, but not enough pics and no comparable pics. finally, i'm competing under protest since none of the other blokes have any pics below waist level. when 40% of yourself isn't even visible you should be disqualified, for shame

Tyler,

I had one shot of the legs for the "after", but I didn't see one for the "before" pic. If you still have it, please send it over to me or post it here since I don't have both for comparison!

Do you mean these photos?

I think you mades some good gains in your calves.

Everyone's after picture are impressive -- although I feel I'm too biased to vote.

Huh, you were right :D Here they are, your links don't appear to be working :?:

My photos suck, I really should try and get some good lighting when I take them  I did gain size and defintion in my legs throughout, especially in my quads around my knees (especially the inner quads) and my hamstrings definately thickened up as well, though it is not apparent in these photos.

Hey Ryan,

Did you leave me off the list??? I sent in the before and after photos on time to meet both deadlines :?

Let me know if there was an issue with my photos or something like that. I guess I'll have to wait for the next time around.

I did make some really good improvements and just competed at the INBA World Natural Bodybuilding Championships last weekend.

I think I have all my before, my progress, and after photos on my website I specifically took for this contest. Sorry I got left off the list. :(

Great job to the rest of you!
