saw this image on a finnish forum (must have been somewhere else as well, VBB?) and it needs sharing. Good to have some vegan mass monsters out there ;)

I like the Terminator poster in the shot. I was on a plane the other day and I couldn't believe it. Arnold Schwarzenegar was a steward. I showed him my ticket and he pointed 'aisle B...back'.

I know them.
Of course they are vegan, why shouldn't they be?
Jonathan didn't imply roids, Roidrage is the screen name of the guy on the right here on VF and on VBB ;)

haha thought so - just his nickname is dubious lol.
Good to see though, so many people simply don't believe it can be done on a vegan diet. Do you know how long they have been vegan? Most I've seen that are big. vegan builders were big before they turned vegan.

It's kind of disappointing to read comments like that from a vegan. A little bit of logical thinking goes a long way.
The vast majority of vegans became so not at birth but later in life when they were able to decide for themselves. Until then, they had already had taken up weightlifting... So it's not that big vegans are so because they started during their meat-eating days, they would have been big no matter what.
As a powerlifter (wannabe?), I got most of my strength and size as a vegan and I'd like to say, because I was one. In fact, vegans are less sick (from cold/ Flu), feel more energetic than meat eaters, so that leaves them more time for a consistent workout without too many muscle-eating breaks.

i meant it in a way that non-vegans use that against us, so the more proof I can provide to them the better! ie, 'im so skinny because im vegan', no nothing to do with that. but most people dont fully understand metabolism, diets, genetics etc.

basically I would like to see an example of someone who is combo veg*n+hard gainer before and afters. More ammunition for arguments!

I became vegetarian at 10, and vegan at 24. Plenty of people do not take up weightlifting until much later in life. And becoming vegan/vegetarian is often a starting point for people to look more into fitness etc, and enter the gym at the same time - hence being a perfect example.

From your info you are a good example too :)
Maybe I should go through the phwooar thread, but its 30pages!
