another newbie

Hello all! I have been visiting here for a few months now and have been inspired by all of you for your fitness feats and compassionate living...my transition to veganism has been a gradual one but heading in the correct direction none-the-less.

my question is about where to buy seeds for sprouting...the large beans are easy enough to find in a local co-op or health food store, but where do i get the small seeds...like broccoli, alfalfa, radish...etc.??

all i can think of are those little organic seed packets-that can't be right??

You should be able to find all the smaller seeds in the bulk section at the health food store too...maybe ask..?

There are several online sites which sell them - try google and see what ones it brings up. You will probably get a good deal if you shop around a bit

they have all organic seeds, probably some info on stuff to sprout.

If you have one, try your local farmers market. Sprouted seeds are becoming more popular and you might be able to find someone selling them. We have a seller at the farmers market I go to.

I'm actually growing alfalfa sprouts in my dorm room in college. A whole foods or an international foods type grocery store will have them.
