oh my gawd its been five days already,i kind of fell off my wagon this week(i was pushed i swear...)Had thursday off running because i was getting a blister on the arch of my foot, really weird, i havent ever had blisters in the three or so years ive been running i think it was a freak combination of circumstances, my shoes were tied tighter than usual, i got wet feet from the slush in the forest, i had to run in a different way to avoid slipping on the ice....and then i geuss i pushed it even though i could feel a rub.
And then instead of letting it rest i ran on it again, and then i went drinking on the weekend,(stupid stupid stupid) and went dancing, not noticing a rubbed foot, and now im nursing quite a sore blister back to health, which is slooow and tedious to bear!!
so thats crap.Drinking is so evil, it makes me really lazy, and i eat really badly(or not at all) and totally dehydrated, and tired,...!

So yesterday the only thing i ate was a tofu sandwhich, rye bread, fried onions, gerkin, tomato, rocket, veganaise, tahini and a bunch of little roasted potatoes with veganaise aswell.

The day before that(saturday) was probably worse, with..morning muesli,a choco soymilk,coffeex2,6x filled vine leaves,2xslices white fladenbrot from the turkish takeaways.Popcorn.

Your running times are good Chloe! I saw you are planning on two marathons this year  Have you run one before? Are you still on track to do the one in April?

hey yahh, thanks for visiting,
Well my april one is on track but im quite disappointed with my progress. The weather has been really hard this year. I had planned on being a bit faster by now, i feel like ive spent the winter maintaining rather than improving, which is really frustrating.
Ive done one marathon before, last year and finished it with room to spare, which made me think i could improve heaps on this one. So now im hoping A/ there will be enough clear good weather to push myself in the next 6 weeks, and B/ that i'll at least improve on last years time,!
The second marathon is the Berlin, which is a huge event and apparently an easy course so i want to do it just for fun., and to make sure i stay in shape over the summer!

Good stuff. Which marathon did you run last year, and what was your time (if you don't mind me asking :) ) ??
Hopefully the weather will improve soon, and you can get some hard training in.
I was in Berlin a few years ago for the love parade. Nice place, but was a crazy few days. When I left I felt like I had run a marathon :D

hehe yeah i heard the love parade was crazy, i can imagine, i ran a marathon out this neck of the woods, Königstein to Dresden. Which was cool, made it better have a place to run to rather than just a mapped out route,..if you know what i mean. My time was 3hrs,45mins18seconds. Which is exactly what i had planned, well 18seconds over precisely. The course was hilly and it rained and hailed and i still ran faster for my last 7ks than at any other part of the race. So this time i was hoping for about 3,40. I dont know if shaving off 5 minutes is being realistic, but thats what i hope i can do. At the moment im just plugging along and hoping for the best.!
Some decent firm gritty ground would really make my month though!
Day off running today, ive got a German to English chemistry translation due tommorrow morning! I left it too late and now im hurrying!
