Thanks mate! :D It has been motivating really. I couldn't very well be happy as a 100 kilogram weakling. I'm back up to 106 and pushing for 113+ by the end of the year. Looking for new PBs in the deadlift and bench over the next 6 weeks as well!

Feeling unbelievably strong again today! But, where is a spotter when you need one? The benching area in my gym is a good 10 meters from the rest of the free weights. I wanted to go for a new PB, could have easily knocked out 113kg. Not a soul even within shouting distance other than two old ladies on treadmills. Bollocks!

Tuesday - Bench Press
5x135 pounds
5x155
5x185
3x205
1x215
1x225
1x235 Felt more like 200. Could have easily pressed 250, but couldn't try it with no spotter. I know I would get afraid of the bar and screw it up. :? Oh well, there will be another day. Finished up with 8x185.

Dumbel Incline Press - 4x75pounds each

Dumbel Flye - 10x35pounds each

Tricep Press Down - 2x10x100 pounds

I feel like I'm making progress for the first time in months. 8)

 455 Pound Deadlift Today

Today should have been Squat Day, but I have been obsessed with deadlifting this week and don't really like squats anyway. :D So after a very stressful morning, I decided to do what I wanted not what I needed.

The 365 went up so easily, but I still had a hard time deciding to go for a new PB. I was still feeling Monday's lifts in my back muscles, but went for it anyway. My liftoff has become really solid and the 455 came off the ground easily! I struggled on the lockout as I did with 435 on Monday, but I refused to give up and locked it out. The grip in my right hand was starting to fail, I made it just in time!

I must have been quite the sight, grunting and straining. I even saw a wad of spit fly straight up in to the air!

Deadlifts -
5x135 pounds
3x225
1x315
1x365
1x455 New PB by 20 pounds! (206.4kg)
1x315 to rack the weight.

Bench Press - Finished up with a little light benching. :D

5x135
3x185
1x205
3x1x225

Thanks Jonathan for introducing me to Dinosaur Training, 24 reps for my entire workout. :D

The illness is easy really, just round up about 10,000 hippie friends and spend 3-4 days with them out in the forest!

The illness seems to have done me very well really. After 10 days of everything moving straight through me, I suppose it was highly cleansing. Since the illness I have not had any problem digesting soy and can eat huge quantities of food without ever getting indigestion, both things I had trouble with before. :?

I was also pissed off at losing so much strength and weight that I worked hard for. I found a lot of motivation in that and was determined to get it all back and move forward. I also haven't had any problems with my arthritis since being ill. :? I'm sure it'll be back though, so I'll enjoy the break while I can.

Bollocks the squatting mate! We have only a few kilos to go to catch Joni's deadlift!
