I'm thinking of going on a cruise and wondered if anyone is able to recommend any cruise lines that offer decent catering for vegans? I went on a cruise a few years ago and vegan meals were none existent despite being told before booking that it wouldn't be a problem. It put me off going on another one but my family want to go and I'd like to go with them without having to starve.

Check Robert Cheeke's Facebook. There's a vegan Carribean one he goes on every year.

where are you from?
things like the boats between finland and sweden are becoming really vegan friendly, one would think many others would be too.

While I'm not generally interested in "cruises" myself, I'd LOVE to take the trip between Stockholm & Helsinki!!

I have done that "cruise" between Stockholm & Helsinki - it's the only cruise I was interested in and had a car. It's an interesting cruise/ferry....not the most vegan friendly ships though, but you aren't on it that long and you have two AWESOME cities on either side of it.

Hi JP,
I live in the north of England. I think it will probably be some sort of Mediterranean cruise for the sunshine.
