London Marathon

Postby baldy » Sun Apr 21, 2013 9:04 am

Anyone else watching it?
The 1 minute silence for Boston, had me welling up. Great quote "'if you're trying to break the human spirit, then marathon runners are the wrong group to pick on."
Looks like a great day for it, some controversy with Mo running only half.
Are there any VF'ers we can look out for?
"A wise man once said, "It's easier to buy smaller clothes, than to put on 5kg." ... Buzz

Caught bits of it, but it was Tiggly's 1st bday party so not the usual glued to screen. That quote is it!

Not a VFer but my best man came 105th overall ... 2:37, pretty awesome!
