A wee run for charity!

Postby K » Wed May 04, 2005 11:51 am

Hello fellow vegan fitness people!

I have officially went insane ... as I am doing the Edinburgh 10K on Sunday (8 May)!

As this is a very big deal for me and it's my first (and probably last)
race, I thought I'd raise money for charity - woo hoo!
:D

As all of the research charities that are being used in the race are pro-animal testing, I wanted to support the fabulous Dr Hadwen Trust, which funds non-animal research into major health problems such as
cancer, heart disease, meningitis and Alzheimer's disease
(http://www.drhadwentrust.org.uk/).

If you fancy sponsoring me that would be lucious and spanking!!!! 8)

Thank you!!

K xx

PS Rochelle now owes me a fiver!

PPS Please give me your home address if you want more info about the charity sent out to you

I think Stacy and I are going to come and watch if that is cool. Maybe if you make it over the line in under an hour we'll give you a few pennies :D

Thank you - although, you will be safe with your pennies as although I'd love to race in under an hour, I'm looking at completing it 1 hour 10!!

Have fun watching!

Hello fellow vegan fitness people!

I did the 10K run - woo hoo x 3! I ran all the way and did it in 63.17!

Thank you to all of those who sponsored me, I've collected more than £250, so I am really chuffed!
