New vegan runner from upstate New York, USA

Postby AndieB » Tue May 15, 2012 1:43 am

My name is Andie and I'm a new vegan (7 months) and a runner. I'm currently training for my first vegan half marathon (I've run three other halfs, as well as a bunch of other 5ks, 10ks and 15ks while lacto-ovo-veg, but I'm pretty sure this will be the best one yet).

This forum has already helped me solve a pretty vexing problem and now I'm hooked!

I've got one half coming up in August (rock n roll half in Providence, RI) and then another in October. I have to knock on wood when I say this, but training has been going great.

Thanks for the welcomes :-)

I grew up in upstaged NY. Where're you at?
"The worker has the right to leave his boss, but can she do it? And if she does quit him, is it in order to lead a free life; where she will have no master but herself? No, she leaves to sell herself to another employer. She's driven by the same hunger. Thus the worker's liberty is only a theoretical freedom, lacking any means of realization; an utter falsehood."
