Thanks mate. Took your advice and split the chins up into heaps of sets. Took me around three hours, including a break in between to make dinner. Next stop: 150 reps in a day.

5 x 40kg
3 x 50kg
2 x 60kg
1 x 70kg
1 x 80kg SB... no troubles
f x 82.5kg
...I think I would have made the 82.5 if I hadn't just done 80 beforehand.

Then a quick fire 3x5 x 60kg for some volume

Squat program: week 6, session 1
5 x 60kg
3 x 75kg
2 x 90kg
6x2 x 105kg


Later at home:

Chins
2 x 10

45min stationary bike

Next day you'll know if you overdid it, so stepping up in stages makes sense. But when you split up into small sets you can do massive numbers and it feels great.

...easily the most dips I've done before. Going to try and increase these the same way as the chinups.

...after the first set I was wondering if three more was going to be possible, but they got easier as I went through them... finishing with a fourth set that was fast and felt great.
