From what I could glean of that translation, it seems like he advocates for super-low carb intake while training for bodybuilding comps which 1. aim for lowest possible bodyfat and 2. is a periodic rather than long-lasting thing. I'm not super familiar with bodybuilding competitions, so perhaps I missed something.
I responded with the intake requirements of doing powerlifting and/or grappling, where below 30% is not-wise unless cutting weight; perhaps I should have clarified.
All in all, I suppose your carb levels depend on the activity your doing; levels required for a marathon runner in training, a powerlifter in a bulking phase, and a competing body builder will surely vary?
