are you part of any crossfit communities either online or in real life? I'm curious how they respond to the vegan thing. My impression was that they pushed paleo pretty hard.

hey lordmuppet. I train at Crossfit Hove. Yeah, they are totally into meat eating. Pretty anti vegan. My trainer still tries to make out that my diet is lacking something, but then i have the biggest squat and deadlift in the box, and am probably the 'stronest' guy who trains there, so its hard for him to push his point too hard. I don't mean to write that sounding all up my own arse, as I suck at loads of stuff, but there is some satisfaction proving all his paleo propaganda wrong.

he he he no that sounds fair enough :)

Yeah had a friend who went paleo and it became unsustainable as a friendship due to him asking me constantly (i.e. every time we would meet up after a while it would be the first question) if i was still vegan and linking me to all this stuff because he was 'worried about me' *sigh*
