I pulled 205 in November but lost 5-7 kg and am back to 170 kg (on a good day, absolute maximum), so I could use some extra motivation to get back up as soon as possible.
Aaand I just noticed that the race will be finished in a week

A little late to enter

Race is on for 2nd place...

And then the mythical 226.8.
Elaborate, please.

it's never too late

I mean, hell, Seitanic and I are still battling it out (however feebly) for the 140kg Squat race.

dammit Hal if I'd known you were up for it I would have harassed you about it!

As the closest to 180kg you were very much on my mind but I assumed you were injured or something as you've been quiet on the log

No worries, Hal, you'll pull it soon enough if you manage to pull 174.6 after reps

aww shucks... no i'm not injured at all.
my shoulder is feeling great, back too (knock on virtual wood)
my log is quiet ONLY because I'm just not making any real increases. just repeating mostly what I;ve been doing for months. seems silly to log it.
but I'm lifting 3x a week for the most part and adding some cardio back finally during my off days.

I'm sorry hal

I'm sure you'll nail it within a few months tops

Now you know what the sticking point is though which is useful info!

Yeah as Lordmuppet said don't get too disheartened with only getting it 2" off the floor. Odds are if you get it past there you will lock it out easily, keeping smashing away at it!
