Thanks VeganHal, my shoulders feel better and stronger already, but still not going to push it.

Sosso - now you can spit all over your mirror as well! :)

24 Feb. 2012 - Friday
Went to the 6 a.m. yoga class this morning. Wow, why haven't I been doing this all along? Felt FAN-friggin-TASTIC! :)

One-Leg Ext: 3 x 20 x 30 lbs

28 Feb 2012 - Tues

Bench: 10 x bar, 3 x 20 x 70 lbs, 10 x 70 lbs - failed! Rested a second and knocked out the last 10 x 70 lbs

First Shoulder Rehab: 3 x 20 x 2.5 lbs
Second Shoulder Rehab: 3 x 20 x 2.5 lbs

Recovery Pullovers: 20 x 15 lbs

Tri Kickback: 3 x 20 x 5 lbs
DB Hammer Curl: 3 x 20 x 10s

Man, its SO embarrassing to fail at 70 lbs on the bench, but then I looked around and reminded myself that nobody cares and its still heavy so continued on. :) Also did Tricep Kickbacks for the first time in a gazillion years, they were surprisingly hard. Good day overall though, still feeling really great even if getting up early sucks.

Rattus - yup! For better or worse :)

1 Mar 2012 - Thurs

Hang Cleans: 4 x 20 x bar

Dips: 10, 10, 10, 6 x bw

Shoulder Rehab 1: 20 x 2.5s, 20 x 5s, 20 x 5s
Shoulder Rehab 2: 20 x 2.5s, 20 x 5s, 20 x 5s

Hammer Strength Row: 20, 20, 20 x 50 lbs

*stretching and foam rolling, then off to work for the day :)

World of difference between this week and last. Was actually able to get all 20 hang cleans. I'm kinda excited to be doing all this form work and can't wait until my high-rep month is over so I can try some of these with a little weight on it.

Another perspective: also you are awesome for doing exercises that you aren't already awesome at! Most people avoid a certain exercise like the plague just because they are worried it would make them look bad :)

Thanks Lordmuppet, I certainly needed a change up!

2 Mar. 2012 - Friday
1 hour morning gym yoga. LOVE, love, love it! Since its early, there is less emphasis on stretching and hard poses and more emphasis on loosening everything up for the day. I could do this everyday, but they only have in on Fridays at my gym :(

Sick, sick, sick today. Stomach flu plus fever plus headache plus terrible cough and sore throat. Took me like half an hour just to type this. Back to bed!

Thanks! I'm back to work today for a half-day, but just walking from the parking lot to the office felt like a marathon.

Phew, that half day of work last week was ridiculous. Couldn't even sit up in my chair at my desk. Didn't bother going on Friday at all. Spent my weekend in bed. Flu has healed up but now I have a nice chest infection. Started antibiotics last Friday and am very slowly getting better. Its nice not to be flu-ish, but the whole not being able to breath really sucks, and coughing up gobs of grossness has been keeping my boyfriend and dogs up at night. Oh well, this is life on immune-suppression therapy!

:( very sorry to hear this. It is rather nice to have a partner and dogs when one is ill though!
