It was a pretty tough few days, no doubt. 1160km. 5 days, 9 hours, and about a billion metres vertical. It was definitely tougher this year, both in the reverse direction of the course (some nasty rocky climbs) and in my lack of fitness.

I had more than my share of my usual stomach problems with nausea most days, but at least there was no vomiting this year! yay. hmmm, I
think I enjoyed it, but there was certainly plenty of suffering. I'm keen to do another write up, but I am not sure if I will have time to get around to it (it somehow seems obligatory for this race). I haven't download my pics yet (and didnt take a lot), but here's a link to some from one of the guys I spent a lot of time riding with.

I also got an email during the Brevet saying I am off the weightlist and am now racing the tri national champs. In 4 weeks! oopsy. What are my chances of getting any swim/run fitness in that time, hmmmmm
