Yeah Baldy - sorry to miss it. In a gradual and constant process of falling behind with deadlines and commitments. Such is life sometimes :( Have a good one.

Really a cool event, over 100 people and mainly vegans.
Chatted to Sean who organises the event and he was saying he actually saw so much traffic coming from VF that he come on the site and read this thread. He liked the comments about hippies :)

Titbits food was great, you pay by the weight, pretty standard London price (my plate was £10). Sticky toffee pudding for desert and good bar with bar staff that are very clued up about vegan alcohol.

We should try make it a regular VF meetup in London.

Yes. It's a great venue, and a great event.

A very nice vegan restaurant. Went back today as I stayed in London. Buffet style but I thought the food seemed much more more upmarket than the other 2 similar places I have been. Very nice decor, soft lighting with candles. Very nice food, mostly vegan I thought. My plate cost a little under 10 pounds, desert in a seperate bowl cost my something like 5.40. vegan desserts included sticky toffee pudding, cherry crumble, fruit salad, and some kind of muesli with soy milk/yoghurty stuff. Cherry crumble was my fave. Friendly staff, clientelle quite smartly dressed.

The vegan drinks gathering had a lot of people, as baldy said like 100. Thought it was held in quite a cramped space though, kind of place that to get from one place to another is a bit of a mission. People there were dressed quite smartly, felt quite underessed at first. Wasn't really my demographic with average age range being like 30s and 40s. Also only had 4 hours sleep the night before so my socialising skills werent at their best. At the busiest point thought probably a ratio of maybe 2:1 men to women? 9.30 we found isnt the true ending time either, which is cool. Sean was a very nice guy, friendly.

Was good to see you again baldy :)
