I don't think the planet needs more kids, and I never heard a good, non-selfish reason to have them. If you want to give your time to help, you can adopt, or go to a shelter and get an animal. By creating a child that needs care, you've added to the problem. Similarly, if you buy an animal from a breeder or breed an animal yourself, you are adding to the problem.

I just had sex... and it... kinda...happened. I suppose having sex was for purely selfish reasons (although I'd like it to be known I'm a 'giver' too )
