Perks of being in on the job is that both me & Baldy are going on it. I actually won Devon's Strongest Man yesterday...shame I forgot to invite any other competitors.

A very real point. Currently anyone wanting to go on the thread needs to register and PM, and we could direct people to that in the meantime. It would be nice to have a button, maybe that's something technical for Baldy?

There's a few like that - Tony Gonzales (American Football) is now on a heavily plant based diet but not 100%, Ronda Rousey (Judo/MMA) gave up vegan after a bad experience and thinks it'll be time to try again after competing, I'm not convinced Zabriskie's ready to go all the way but I could be wrong. Hopefully this will encourage people at the top level thinking about it. Salim Stoudamire got a lot of hassle of his team managers when he went vegan, maybe the next basketball player can say 'Salim's done it!' and get an easier path.

About time we had an update.

The site is looking TERRIFIC and we're about to pass fifty vegan greats with a massive combined haul of numerous world records, event victories, gold medals and so on between them and a combined consumption of animal products of nil!

The launch is coming this week, to tie in with Patrik Baboumian's attemp on the world log lift record. With VF represented at the event, GVA should be just about the first website to report the news. At the end of the week we'll be circulating the URL to veggie and animal groups to get the hits off to a good start.

FACEBOOK GROUP

We have no Facebook Group, and no Twitter account, and it would be great to have one asap. Can anyone volunteer to take this on? It would be a great help.
