Just heard back from NoTubes, and their tires are manufactured by Kenda, so that's another brand to add to the list of brands.

exactly my plan as well, have had my eyes on those for some time now, and what better reason to try them out than this?

I ordered mine earlier today. I hope my skills are up to them! I am hoping they will roll well enough on gravel and asphalt roads. I will be using them instead of my old Conti Cyclocrosses. (or the Akas I have on now)

It sounds like you MTBers are sorted, but us audaxers and tourers are still f'd as Conti and Schwalbe were way ahead of the bunch (albeit on the back rendered-down cattle). I'll try Panaracer in the UK as I suspect my email to Japan may have been rather, er, lost in translation.

For DH and AM I guess, but for XC racing this is a hard blow, Conti and Schwalbe are the two main players there when it comes to light weight racing tires...

I don't know much about them unfortunately, have seen some people using them on races here. Interesting to see how much performance can be squeezed out of them when running really low pressure, especially on loose, muddy and wet trails.

For a weight conscious XC racer they were definitely not shit, it really sucks that they have to meddle with animal ingredients here, when it's clearly not necessary...

That gives me a lot of choice, I assume their road tyres are as good as their MTB and touring one? The former may get sarcastic comments but their MTB tyres were the most sought after ones of my youth, er, a while ago

Dave hasn't logged in for over a year, so I would guess no one is updating it. Would you like to cut and paste what is there already and start a new one?

I think best would be if you started a new thread, I'll lock the other two threads and refer to that new thread, and you'll manage the new list. Would that be ok? It's a bit confusing with two threads now, where the main reference is to Dave's list that is no longer managed.

excellent initiative btw, and I think I speak for all of us here in that anyway we as a community can support you making your bike shop entirely vegan just let us now. top of my wish list is that you move it to Stockholm
