We have missed you to! Well done on another marathon, great race report, almost makes me want to start running again.

Great write-up of the race. 23 minutes is pretty much.

Well done HG, sounds like an amazing experience and you put in a gutsy performance.

I think everyone says they are never going to do a marathon again either before or after! But maybe you just need a break.

Sprint training is amazing for your endurance. I used to do 20 x 100m off a 30 second rest followed by 10 x 200m off a 1 min rest. It was only 4k of intervals but had a massive impact.

Thanks guys; think I do need a break from massive sessions but I am actually succeeding in doing small, incremental sessions at the moment which I can work into a busy schedule quite frequently.

Konstantin - that sounds like a great (and tough) training suggestion. There was I thinking that 10 x 100m was benefitting me but now I feel like taking on more of a challenge. I am also reminded of you mentioning in your own log how you wanted to make each run count, as I no longer feel like an easy 4 miles is an optimal use of my time (it's still a lot better than watching kitten videos on youtube, but you catch my drift).
