The Rules:
- chinup, pullup, hammer grip, whatever they all count the same as long as you dont switch during the set
- chin needs to raise above or touch the bar to be consistent ( I know some people touch chest to bar, good for them).
- try not to kip, probably expectable for the last couple of reps.
- if there is a tie with number of reps the heavier person gets the top position.
- each rep from a dead hang
