Solid stuff. FS to max FTW.

You training on the 2nd? Is it going to be another 2-6pm session seeing as the leisure centre is closing early?

Yes was a very systemy kind of session as Koing was running the show, brilliant session :)

Will train on the 2nd, got a pub lunch at 1:30 so probably only arrive 3:30. Someone with keys should be there from 2, like today.

nice deadlift but I think if you are going to REALLY progress you need an awesome beard like that chap in the video :wink:

Think I may have met him if he works at Strengthshop actually

most importantly upper body is looking bigger. I put on one of my old running long sleeve tops and now its a compression top.

Your my strength and 20kg lighter, I think by most standards you are stronger than me. However I agree that despite this I will still destroy you. :twisted:

First training session of the year didn't go well. Intentions where good, packed my stuff in the car, went to the pub for lunch and didnt drink. Still didnt get out of the pub in time to go to the gym. FAIL :(

training starts Wednesday, back to the program.

First session of the year, no training for 4 days, FTW how did that happen?

Wednesday Woking
===============
Forgot my note book at the gym, hope no one steals it! From what I can remember:
Warmup
Behind Neck Power Jerk: 3x20kg, 3x40kg, 3x60kg, 3x70kg, 3x75kg, 3x80kg, 3x82.5kg // coach shout at me in the last set to lock out.
Clean Jerk: 3x3 warmup 20kg, 3x50kg, 3x60kg, 3x70kg, 3x80kg // cardio tastic, felt heavy after so many triples.
Snatch: 3x3 warmup 20kg, 3x30kg, 3x50kg, 3x53kg, 3x55kg, 1x60kg, F66kg, 1x66kg // went for 66kg to beat George by 1kg, next session he gets a 1kg advantage.
Squats: 3x60kg, 3x80kg, 3x100kg, 1x110kg, 1x120kg, F131kg (little crackpipe), 2x2 110kg // not bad actually
Pullups: 10
Snatch Pulls from mid thigh: 6x50kg, 6x60kg, 3x70kg, 3x80kg // near finished a Brian program, should have done some jumps but it was already 9 oclock.

Next comp 28th January, psyched.

Fairly shitty session

Day 1 of BWL Level 1 Assistant Coach Course
===================================
Was up late last night doing all the home work prep for this course (6 pages of questions).
The training today was a lot more hands on than I expected. Morning and afternoon session on how to teach the C&J and snatch. Very interesting and got to meet a lot of people. Few crossfit folks from Brighton there also. Totally changed my setup to a wider stance and bar further in front, which makes the first pull feel way tighter. See if it makes any difference in my lifting.

Loads of loads of drills with bar and light weights. Feel proper nackered.

Tomorrow we have morning revision session then practical and written exam.

Yeah certainly, I should be able to teach the basics pretty well now.

Sunday
======
Another day of my life discussing the smallest detail of the C&J and snatch. Solid day, hopefully it will improve my technique.
In the afternoon we did our practical and wrote the exam. Should get results in a week, then everyone has to call me (assistant) Coach!
