How can you drink something with that much oats? Seems it would be very thick and hard to get down.

It's probably not very high calorie but my basic shake is: one banana, a portion of frozen berries, a teaspoon of hemp protein, a teaspoon of pea protein, some flax oil and about 500ml of sweetened and fortified soya milk...

If you have enough liquid it's not too thick. This was made in a standard shaker bottle and I added a little bit of water after I blended it.

I'll have to try this I guess. Recently I've just been dumping peanut butter in my shakes to get more calories in.

2 cups soy milk
3 scoops protein powder
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 teaspoons sugar

blueberries and peanut butter is a super tasty combo

700 calories
55g protein
55g carbs
30g fat

^just a guess but probably pretty close

witrh enough liquid ( 1 cup "milk") and 1.5 cup juice the oats should be fine- especially blended in a hig speed blender- VERY CREAMY

I don't know if this is considered bad in this forum because of the sugar.... But for breakfast I have a heap of fresh fruit in a blender with fresh orange juice. This morning was bananas, OJ & strawberries. This breakfast makes me feel the best, despite the high sugar and low protein. And it's my favourite meal of the day.

No at all, you should add more protein and fats though

And at least a couple of scoops of Malto Dextrine or HFCS.

Either that or take it to VBB.

I like to try and just stick to real unprocessed food.... not sure about these powders and things... no idea what any of that malto hfc stuff is, or VBB??

I really like just plain fruit smoothies. Sometimes with greens added in but that's it. tastes good, feels great :p

400 ml soy milk
1 scoop of protein powder (30g)
50g oats
Sweetened artificial industrialized shitty cocoa powder
A big ol dollop of mollasses(iron, calories and whatnot)
3 Bananas

Works great for me, sometimes I make it with rice milk for those nice amino acids, and sometimes I add more liquid.

And the protein powder is that good old kick in the gut flavour, so I add lots of sweet stuff.
