Banner ads on the bottom of all pages

We have just turned google ads on and you should see them at the bottom of all pages.
This is a bit of an emergency measure to generate much needed revenue to pay for the ongoing hosting of veganfitness.

When we had google ads in the past, it generally was not liked, it is unfortunately essential in the short term.
If you don't like the ads, please donate the US$600 to cover ones years hosting. Then we will with great pleasure remove them instantly.

Else please bear with us while we look at other revenue sources. It is possible to block the ads with an browser plugin like adblocker -> https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... lock-plus/

If you see any very objectionable ads being generated please PM me the URL (the bit in green in the ad) and I can block those from being displayed. If it's a funny one just post it in this thread and we can argue about it.

Maybe your browser has ad block (or some equivalent). I have it on chrome and firefox so don't get ads.

Exactly it is easy enough to block the ads if you don't want to see them.

I had a little brain wave this morning when I was in the bath. It should be possible to have the ads for only unregistered users. That way we can still get ad revenue and have a perk to register. What do people think about that?

Or should we just drops the adverts as soon as/if we can?

I think that we should keep the ads...they are not very intrusive and are presumably paying for the server...
