Ooof!

low box squats up to 5 x 130kg + chains then right shoulder flared up massively. Struggled through 3 x 10 x 95kg free squats and then aborted.

Think it might be a combination of underlying weakness (both shoulders were pretty inflamed this time last year) and arm wrestling my boss during a team building evening on Tuesday. I won, but at what price?

I'm sorry about your shoulder problem, but the cause of it is kind of funny... Maybe a peeing contest instead next time? :)

Drinking and arm wrestling, sounds like a good night. Healing vibes for the shoulder, last two times I got challenged to an arm wrestle I have hurt my elbow. Think its probably not worth the risk.

Also, in my defence the Arm Wrestling was part of a "Think of a challenge for the team holding the prize to win it off them for as long as you hold off the other challenges" game that involved lots of other silly stuff and ended with a standing-on-one-leg competition. Daft.

Today:

Low Box Squat

Box about 1 inch below parallel.
5 x 70kg + chains
3 x 110kg + chains
3 x 130kg + chains
3 x 140kg + chains

Low box is tough!

Squat

3 x 10 x 100kg

Only meant to do 95kg!

Floor press

5 x 65kg
3 x 85kg
3 x 105kg
3 x 115kg (last one was with arse off ground/bridge press)

Bench

3 x 10 x 70kg

Supersetted with

One Arm Row

3 x 10 x 40kg

Nice press :)

Do you have to use a thumbless grip with the fat bar?

What about the 190 box squat!

surely that is a PB ??

well done on the press especially with the shoulder issues

Not done so yet. Might try it but regular grip suits fine at the mo.

Yeah, if one's not going up the other seems to. Happy days!

Cheers! I don't really count PBs in variants, stick to counting them in the main lifts.
