-Having a real hard time progressing with the OHP, wondering if it's normal.
-Decided to wear undewear that left my "friend" a little bit more free today. When I was doing the power clean I was trying to get the bar as close to my shins as possible, and o the way up...BAM, smashed my balls on the 3rd rep on the way up. If I have some advice, get some tight underwear.

Yesterday went to Brasilia to see Conquest for Death and some other thrashcore bands, only got in bed at 5am.
Today had rugby practice, played some touch, tackle and ruck drills, about 2 or 3 ours under the hottest sun ever.

Didn't get enough sleep this weekend, felt really weak today

-Shitty last weeks are being extremely shitty, feeling it affecting my lifts.
-At leat got that dayum ohp up, at last.
-Also got my Power Clean up to the same weight as bench press.

what kind of volume do you train with mate?

As in how many sets and reps and so on?

Okay, been a while, didn't go to the Gym Friday so no Log.

Also found out that the bar that I've been using is 20kg, not 10kg as I thought, so I'm gonna get all the numbers fixed.

Finally the shitty times are over, all my problems solved and I got back to a solid sleep/eat schedule.

I'm using warmup sets+3x5 heavy work sets for everything except for the Deadlift, which I do 1x5 as Rippetoe says in the book and for the dips and pull-ups, which I do 3 sets of as much as I can, and when I get to 12 reps I'll start adding weight.


Also went to the health/sport food store today, they started selling good quality vegan protein powder for a really good price, next tuesday the new shipment arrives and I'll pick it up.




Also recorded a video of my 2 last sets of Power Cleans today, will upload them later for a quick form check, if you guys don't mind.

-A lot easier doing the Power Cleans on 5x3, could of lifted more.
-Pulled something in my right quad on thursday rugby training, could barely walk on friday.
-Confirmed that I'm playing scrum half on saturday, since I can still feel my leg I'm not gonna try any funny shit this week, since it's gonna be my first game.
-Soy isolate finally arrives on wednesday.

Exams in school, felt some light injury in my right quad, so didn't lift for nearly 2 weeks.

Try working around the injury next time. If you can't do leg stuff do upper body stuff sitting down if you have to. :)
