Study finds atheists trusted less than rapists.

It feels good knowing that I will get turned down from "trust" jobs due to my lack of religiosity.

Yes, because you can't be a gay atheist, or a gay Christian, or a gay feminist. I suppose the worst would be a gay feminist atheist rapist? Although what stories they could tell.... :D

HA! And an atheist to boot. My wife says we should abandon Xmas and do Festivus instead.

Hmmm. I wonder if veganism would affect one's trustworthiness? I'll bet a vegan atheist, or as Christopher Hitchens would say, anti-theist, wouldn't rate very well to a religilous person.

Meh. We totally celebrate the Christmas without "Christ" or religion. Yes, it pisses off a lot of Christians, but I don't care. I used to say things a bit differently, but that is an accurate representation of what we do.

My kids and my wife and I don't believe in G-d. We don't believe that baby Jesus was born in the middle of Winter... but we do like to share with each other, and my wife and I both get the same time period off of work and so do our families. It is cold, and we like to give our kids special time and special gifts. So we do. We have a Christmas tree and everything. We have a big (vegan) meal the days around Christmas, and we love it.

So it's not really "Christmas", but it is culturally. And that's what we do.

Christians can trust us even less since we are actively participating in the further erosion of taking the "Christ" our of "Christmas".

Why bother? At least in my part of the world there hasn't been any Christianity left in Christmas for a number of years. Occasionally, someone will put a nativity scene in their front yard.

Beyond that it is pepper spraying your fellow consumers at the 3am big box store opening during the competition to charge cheap plastic crap from China so you stay in debt until the summer.

Outside of consumerism gone mad, Christmas is all about Yule, trees, lights, reefs etc.
