A recent change in my work hours has created a bit of a problem for me. My boss has me working full time now, so that means I'm working 8.5-9 hours a day + 4 hours commuting roundtrip. It's been like this for the past 2 weeks. I leave early in the morning and come home at night exhausted. Although I do need the extra cash, I'm unfortunately really losing my drive to work out.
Yesterday I made it to the gym but didn't go with a plan so it was kind of pathetic.
back squats: 10X bar warm up; 5X5 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 lbs; 10X bar cool down
front squats: 3X5 65, 70, 75 lbs
seated rows: 3X8 70 lbs
a few
clean & jerks with 40 and 50 lb barbells
cardio: 20 minute run on treadmill + 10 minutes on stationary bike
I need help creating a routine that I can do on Saturdays and Sundays. I'm afraid that I've really fallen off the wagon with fitness
On a brighter note, I went out dancing with friends last night to a typical guido / guerilla juice head bar/club. Ironically, I've actually lost weight since my gym hiatus and I totally rocked a tight blue dress and boots last night. I had a blast getting my dance on, aside from creepy old guys trying to buy me shots. When will they learn?!?
