You can't tell me a slice of pie is less objectionable than a potato.
I might go raw just 'cause I can't be arsed to cook.. and I love cake!

Anyway, my rant is that I have suddenly found out that almost everything containing lemons at the Co-op contains shellac, which is made of beetle secretions. I don't want beetle secretions in my houmous! I don't want beetle secretions in anything. Why would you deliberately add beetle secretions to anything? WHY?!
Then again, at least they have it written on the box.

Find the following:
- shedloads of quorn
- lots of new Linda Mac stuff that is full of cheese
- lots of Tivall stuff with egg in it
- half a dozen new lines of Tesco-brand vegetarian stuff, only one that is vegan
- falafels that have milk powder in them (seriously, WTF?)
- no more cheezly, instead a bunch of lactose-free dairy cheese

So anyway, got there, had a drink or two then ordered. It wasn't a particularly busy night, but despite this they didn't have any of about five curries, including the one vegan curry. So I had the joy of chips instead. Wasn't very happy.
Wetherspoons label there vegan food online and it's awesome they have a vegan curry (this only occurs on a thursday). But I was not chuffed, kinda spoilt my birthday at least for that moment.
