I figured that some of you might be interested in some of the fundraiser items up for sale as a fundraiser for my kid's democratic free school, Little Lake Learning Community.

The Little Lake Learning Community is holding an Art Sale and Silent Auction on Friday, December 2nd from 10am to 9pm. If you cannot attend this event, we have created an online auction and it is officially live! Please click on the link and start bidding!!
Please pass this on!

Little Lake Learning Community is holding its second annual Art Sale and Silent Auction THIS Friday December 2nd from 10am to 9pm at 3257 Lohr Road at the Episcopal Church of Incarnation. There will be: a variety of baked goods, original custom framed art including photography and wood block prints, handmade jewelry, holiday cards, ornaments, frames and felted monsters handmade by the children of Little Lake, a beautiful handknit scarf, plus gift certificates to Zingerman's birthday cake, a professional photography session with Turtle Street Photography, a Master gardening consultation, a Henna session, chiropractic services, a cheese tray from Morgan and York, swimming lessons/coaching by former Masters swimming coach, teeth whitening at a dental spa, Roos Roast coffee camp, piano/violin lessons by Suzuki certified teacher, wine, 3 different Bikram Yoga gift certificate options, dining at Gandy Dancer and more! Featuring a generous offer by Hullaballoo for a private gig!

If you cannot attend our event, you may go to our online auction and bid on a sampling of our items. Here's how.

Click this link:
Auction Link: http://www.32auctions.com/view_auction?id=littlelakelc&pwd=littlelakelc

And enter this info:
Auction ID: littlelakelc
Auction Password: littlelakelc

NOTE: You are required to create an account to bid online. This is to make sure that if you are the highest bidder, the online auction can forward your name and contact information to us. They do not ask for any financials, only basic contact info.

NOTE: We will not accept any new bids after 9pm on Friday, December 2nd. (We are closing the online auction after the live auction because the online auction site automatically emails the highest online bidder but we will need to merge the two auctions (online and live) to see who is the highest bidder by 9pm. The online auction going an additional day gives us time to sort through each item before these emails are sent out).

We'd like to thank you for your participation! We are raising money to (hopefully) purchase a used van or mini-truck for our weekly community day trips. Currently we take the pubic bus (which we love) but often we visit places that are outside the Ann Arbor city limits so we need to coordinate rides and drivers regularly. This would free us up tremendously! Also, we want to use a portion of the money to help all families be able to attend an educational conference at The Farm in Tennessee this spring.

We were auctioning some
Saves the Day signed merch, but that will happen later. If you are interested, please let me know so that I can give you a link to that bid.
Context is everything.
