Some highs and lows lately it seems, hope you'll be back to heavy lifting and enjoying your belt really soon!

Hey hope you heal up speedily, agree belt looks 'tonk' (what a great word)! Am with Lord Muppet on the chalk vs gloves, I find deadlifting grip is much better using chalk vs gloves.

oh. you're all so awesome!! thanks so much. yeah i've been AWOL. naughty naughty. :)

my back surgery healed up very nicely. and I have been lifting, AND enjoying the hell out of my Buzz Belt.

1. i've been ridiculously busy with work that's been draining my energy. 2. my left shoulder has been bugging me. 3. have a minor lower back issue that sometimes makes certain lifts difficult.

basically i've managed to lift about 2 times a week for the past couple weeks. and lifted lighter than usual. sometimes skipping lifts that bug the aforementioned issues. and just not logging my days.

nailed a full session today. just not hitting my maxes.

MON:
squat: 2x10x225, 2x10x255, 2x5x285
OHP: 2x5x110, 3x5x125, 2x3x140
shrugs: 10x245
DL: 10x245, 5x295, 3x345
pull-ups: 4x5
planks
dips: 2x10, 3x10x(bw+10)

OK. been MIA once again. BUT I've been lifting 2-3 times a week. just not logging. and unfortunately not getting in extra cardio work. hope to get back into that in-between lift days.

in honesty, while the lifting is going pretty well. I've not been pushing for heavier. but just maintaining my numbers mostly and free-styling a bit. a lot of it has to do with ho my shoulder feels that particular day and how late i'm hitting the weights.

so hope that i can get back to some PBs in 2012....

sonicZip, Lordmuppet, Goob & Haisuli: thanks for the comments. sorry I've been MIA in here.

the back surgery was really just removing a cyst that had been there for many years and eventually got infected. completely healed up now.

I added my 2012 goals to the goals post last month. i think they are crackpipe, but you never know.

so. I've been lifting consistently 3x a week for the past 2 months. I've not really increased any numbers but I'm right where i need to be. Just nothing to log about at the moment.

so I say i'm in maintenance mode for the time being. lifting heavy, and consistently so as not to lose strength. yet not pushing for new PBs just now. but I'll get there. I still need to motivate myself to do some cardio between lifting days.
