nicely done sir!

Quality deadlift too. 210kg seems big to me especially given the weight class.

Which federation was it?

Ta!

There were plenty stronger though sad to say, including 1 65kg dude pulling 240kg. Beast...

The fed was the BDFPA, WDFPA affiliate.

So tonight back to it. Tonight shall be known as the night of the maths fail.

High Box Squat

Box about 2 inches above parallel.
5 x 70kg + chains
5 x 110kg + chains (Miscalculated the weight from here on out, thought I was 10kilos lighter than I was)
5 x 130kg + chains
5 x 140kg + chains

Squat

10 x 100kg (dammit again!)
2 x 10 x 90kg

Floor press

5 x 65kg + chains
5 x 85kg + chains (Again, thought this was 75kg + chains, must be sleepy or summit)

Bench

3 x 10 x 65kg

Dumbell Bench

3 x 5 x 40kg each arm

Supersetted with

One Arm Row

3 x 5 x 40kg

A good session I feel.

i'm curious why the 10 reps for so many things? Trying to put on size?

Missed training on the weekend due to work xmas party and in-law/nephew duty all day Sat/Sun. So slightly out of cycle, back to it:

Fat Bar deadlift

5 x 105kg
5 x 105kg + chains
3 x 135kg + chains
1 x 165kg + chains
F x 175kg + chains Grip gave way
F x 175kg + chains Swapped grip, still not happening

Been a bit of a heavy week, out on the lash last night for "Team Building" so I'm blaming that for failing so completely...

Fat bar deadlift

3 x 10 x 105kg

Change from a regular bar to work on the grip a bit.

Fat bar Press

5 x 55kg
3 x 60kg
1 x 65kg
1 x 75kg I think that equals my PB for a reg bar, so the session is rescued...

3 x 10 x 45kg

Supersetted with

Bar bell Row

3 x 10 x 70kg

No time for curlz

hey, notice any grip benefits yet from using the fat bar??

and how much do the chains weigh?

Cheers buddy! Chains are 15kg each, so 30kg in total.

The only grip test I do is fat bar deads, so in as much as I am lifting more my grips getting better. Don't really notice much on regular deads 'cos I don't lift enough for grip to be an issue...
