Trying for vegan by the beginning of 2012.

Postby Edison Carasio » Sat Nov 12, 2011 2:50 am

Long story short, I've been here a long time. But I fell of the wagon about 2 years ago when my mom died and such. I had given up on giving a crap about a lot of stuff, but about a year ago I went vegetarian again. Back lurking around here hoping for inspiration to go vegan by the end of the year.

Wish me luck!

You can do it, no luck needed! :D

I went vegan 20 years back when it was considerably less convenient and much less understood/accepted. I have been vegan living on the streets without a penny in my pocket. I have been vegan in 45ish states and 3 other countries.

You are likely far more intelligent, capable &
motivated than I am, so...

YOU CAN DO IT! :D

If you made it up from the streets then you had to have some smarts! That ain't no easy feat! :P

But I sincerely appreciate your support!

So I haven't purchased any dairy or egg products for a couple weeks, nearly to the end of what I had at home. Whey protein powder is nearly gone, last single egg was used and gave tossed out some expired dairy yogurt and stocked up on soy yogurt.

remember to add new vegan things to your diet as opposed to just removing non vegan things.

One thing to do that is good is every time you go shopping try to buy one thing (e.g. a weird fruit, veg) that you haven't eaten in a long time or (even better) you have never eaten.
