Thursday, 20/10

Squats
5 x 60kg, 3 x 80kg
3 x 100kg
4x3 x 110kg... felt really good, no problems

V pulldowns: 8 x 35kg, 8 x 40kg, 3x5 x 50kg
Decline situps: 2 x 15

Tried some dips for the first time in ages, managed 3x5 which was surprising, could have easily done more. Normally these are very weak for me. This lower BW thing is really working well ;)

They are. My gym is crazy busy most of the time. Usually I have to wait for equipment or alter what I do based on if a platform or squat rack is free, so I'm kind of used to getting out within around 45 minutes.

3-4 hours is fine, it will be good preperation for my comp the following week

Thanks buddy, yeah my drop in DL I am putting down to the fat loss. The last time I tested my 1rm's for the strength table was when I was at my biggest. It's inevitable I guess.

On a self-imposed break at the moment, waiting at the airport for my flight to Germany. Tschüs!

get 2.5 kg on there and that is a 2.5 times bw squat

also how much of a drop was the bodweight/deadlift?
JS - They think it will open the door to folk like LordMuppet campaigning for a threeway?

I am not even close to x2.5 bw squat. I'd be very happy if I could hit 2 x bw in my upcoming comp, though.

My DL is the lift that has frustrated me the most since I started cutting weight. However Lordmuppet you prompted me to check what my bw vs DL drop was.. and it's actually gone up

185kg @ 81kg = x2.28
165kg @ 66kg = x2.50

I still miss being able to pull that much, mind you. le sigh.

you have to use wilks man!

direct bodyweight comparisons are rubbish - ie. worlds strongest man brian shaw is weaker than me because he hasnt strict pressed his bodyweight

though i think you will still be stronger now?

haha you know me mate, I use wilks all the time... mostly because it puts me ahead of people ;)

I think my wilks score is also better, so I can't complain.
