I ran 30k for the very first time on Sunday. 2:49'47'', a couple of nasty hills included.
That's after not running from July 9th to August 20th because of an ankle injury (not caused by running).
I'm feeling on top of the world

It was Växjö Marathon in Sweden. It was 8 laps around a lake, a rather flat track. It was around 15'c and no wind, so quite good conditions. I held around 4hr pace the first 6laps, on the 7th lap I started to strugle a bit, legs felt heavy and all I could think was to at least not start walking, keep on running even if it didn't go as fast, lost a litle pace then, and the last lap finaly felt a bit easier again when I knew I was almost at the finish line! But all in all it felt good, it was easier then I had expected and it probobly wont be my last full marathon :)

Ran a pb in the 10k yesterday. GPS measured course. Won it overall too. Wore my 'go vegan' kit again.

Thanks crew!

Its a great idea this running table.

Having a goal time for my race and then sticking with on pace by using my Garmin 310 (its the biggest screen therefore easiest to read) has helped me SO MUCH in smashing my pb's from the mile to the marathon in 2011.
