New vegans

Postby Koa » Sun Sep 25, 2011 4:03 am

Hello,

after watching "Earthlings" a couple of weeks ago we decided to change our diets and not eat meet anymore. We've done vegetarianism a couple of years ago but then switched back to meat until now. Anyway, studying "Becoming vegan" now which is quite an interesting book and a great guide.

As per fitness, my wife is a marathon runner and lifts weights whereas I lift weights and do conditioning workouts.

We also have three young children and we hope they enjoy the vegan lifestyle as much as we do.

Great info on this board!

welcome! Where are you from and where do you live?
"The worker has the right to leave his boss, but can she do it? And if she does quit him, is it in order to lead a free life; where she will have no master but herself? No, she leaves to sell herself to another employer. She's driven by the same hunger. Thus the worker's liberty is only a theoretical freedom, lacking any means of realization; an utter falsehood."

Grüssdich! Welcome! It's a bit of a switch at first, but our kids didn't have much trouble with it. Well, okay, it took a while to taper off the cheese...
