Vegan friends animal sanctuary under threat of closure

My lovely Vegan friend Molly has been running a cat sanctuary ''Feline Care'' in Norfolk for the last few years on next to nothing.


Now the owners no longer want the responsibility and have given the ultimatum to find £70,000 to become a charity in it's own right and buy the land where the centre is built or the sanctuary will be closed.

Not only will it be a knock to the many cats that need rescuing locally, but it is also desperately sad news for the resident cats that are to old, ill or unhomeable.


As of today 23/09/11 they still need to raise £23000

Please help, any amount big or small are so very very much appreciated.

If you can not afford to donate, please spread the word. If you have a facebook page please 'like' save feline care Norfolk. The more people that know the more people can help. Surely there are more than 23,000 vegans in the UK that can donate a pound

Feline Care's Autumn open day did amazingly this weekend. They managed to raise £5,305.30 which is just staggering

Unfortunately they still need to raise another £14,000 by the end of Sept.

I hope so much that the present owners will see how well and how hard everyone is working to save Feline Care and extends their deadline.

Molly will not give up on any animal, be it old, feral, ill or just plan grumpy.

Most sanctuaries wouldn't even take in the cats that Feline Care help, and many more larger sanctuaries would euthanasia them.

This is a really special place that can not be given up on.
