Well done - that's a long way!
I've never run anywhere near that far but some of this stuff feels familiar from long distance cycling, I love this bit:-
"I told myself it was too early to start feeling this way! Dehydration, hills, heat, sore quads, on the verge of vomiting, dizziness. These were not the problems. The problem is expecting to not have problems and thinking that having problems is a problem."

Was Catra Corbett (successful vegan ultra runer) running that event? She did one very recently but had difficulties.
