functional training course
second day - joint mobility training - flow-bag training - rope med ball training - elastic rope training - circuit training - exercises recap - training programming
... the two days course has been intense: 16 hours of training, practice and learning. the organization was excellent and the instructors topclass and very prepared. i passed the pratical (physical) part of it. i now have to submit a written "1 month training program" for an imaginary (amateur or elite) athlete who has a specific target, following the guidelines received during the course. i'll become a functional training instructor if i pass the test.

rest day: necessary after the past two days.
... my next ten days will be quite busy both working and studying wise (i have an exam on the 22nd). even though i'm excited after all the inputs received during the course, it'll be difficult to find time for training.

17:19 rb: about 26k ... i can't train more than one hour per day, with a view to doing my exam next week. that's ironic since what happened the day after.

injury: the stupidest injury i ever had. i was walking in my room and hit hard the armchair leg with my left foot. i thought it was just a contusion, although painful; i did some ice but the pain didn't go away, and wasn't able to stand or walk; i went to the hospital but they couldn't do any x-ray tonight because the all system was crashed (can you frakking believe it!!!). i'll have to go back tomorrow at 2pm, but i'm already pretty sure my left little toe is broken. i already got crutches from a friend of mine.
injury: 2nd day ... x-rays confirmed it's a compound fracture of the left little toe. prognosis: 21 days. i left it on ice for too long today and, of course, my foot is swollen now. i am depressingly stupid these days

shit, not the toes! Such a lot of pain from a stupid little thing. Rest up; I seem to break mine at least once a year (in fact I don't think they ever really heal up), I'm soon back on the bike. But running?

Ouch Sonic sorry to hear about your injury. And just from kicking a chair, that is so frustrating! If it were me I'd have it stapped up and get down the pool (with a pull bouy if need be). Hope you are soon fixed! Take care.
