Edinburgh/Glasgow????

I might be going to Scotland over new years!

So any tips on must see, vegan eats, super markets, book stores etc in Edinburgh and or Glasgow; much appreciated?!!

Edinburgh is great for vegans.
The Baked Tattie shop, the Piemaker, Bo Blacks and David Banns are all great.

In most little shop you will get vegan pies and sausage rolls made by a company called Jordan Valley. The sausage rolls in particular are awesome.

Finally best coffee shop in Edinburgh is called Artisan Roast, a must visit if you like coffee. Best soya latte you will ever have in your life.

I like Stereo in Glasgow when I've been down there but any vegan place gets me excited as Aberdeen doesn't have a single veggie/vegan place. Ate there twice in one weekend

Mono in Glasgow is great. I was there yesterday, and its good food and drinks, all vegan.
I've never been to Stereo, though I've heard good things about it. I think its the same owner/manager as Mono, as well as The 78, which is another vegan cafe/bar.

For Edinburgh, I'll second the Baked Potato Shop, its great. David Banns is nice as well. Another place I like is the Engine Shed Cafe, which is good for cheap lunch and cakes, though I think it will be closed over Christmas/New Year. Also, Kalpna and Ann Purna do great veggie Indian food.

Went to both Mono and Stereo in Glasgow! They were both very nice! Unfortunatly missed the closing time on the tattie shop in Edinburgh, but on the other hand managed to tick of another country on the "Countries I've had falafel in list"
