Our working sets are very very close, I am not sure what the target is but the race is defiantly on! (I am going to totally over look the probably 20kg weight advantage I have over you and will pretend its a fair fight).

hey a bit late, but we just call it barrel press or barrel overhead or barrel clean & press.

if the keg is light one motioning it from the clean is the best way! Fast and efficient if its part of an overhead medley or for reps.

Hey,thanks for the translation and advice ;)

Just wanted to order my very own pair of strength shop lions and then found out that there is a new shoe, too.

So which ones should I get?

If someone could help me I would very much appreciate some recommendations here.
Wanted to order them together with the new deadlifting shoes which I would maybe use in competition in 10 days.

The major difference is that the old blue ones have a wooden sole and the new red ones have a rubber sole. Both have 32mm heels, red ones look cooler.
I have the blue one and have never seen the red ones, so my advice is only so good.

Screw the videos. It will take ages to get them, if I´ll be able to upload them at all.
So here´s most of the training in the merry month of september (plus a comp):

11th:
Comp day!
German RAW Squat Championships
Didn´t squat more than 135 for weeks, so I didn´t know what to start with.
Went out with 135 as my opener. Easy warmup. Even got complimented on my form.
Next one 145. Did it look any different? Easy.
Last one: 155. PB. Smoked it.

I am still sure I could have done 160 on that day. Maybe even 165. I so regret not trying it.

Spontaniously decided to enter the squat & pull national cup, too.
Only 4 or 5 starters left in my group, so we had like 3 minutes between lifts.
Warmep up to 170. Felt ok.
First attempt: 180. Grinded but up.
Second: 190. Ages passed, longest lift of my life but then it was up. Equal PB, heaviest lift of the year so far.
Asked the judge, if we could get a break. He said we should just take our time and lift when we were ready.
Third attempt: 195. Failed. As if they had nailed it down to the ground.

Ended up 6th of 7 in the squat (but I was told that I looked the biggest next to one juicy kid that lifted 250  ) and nobody knows about the other comp because we left early and the results still weren´t upped.
Anyway, easiest PB of my life and heaviest equal PB of my life. Good comp.
Current PBs:
195 kg SQ, 130 kg Bench, 245 kg DL, 200 kg SQ w/ wraps

Long Term Goals:
@ 75 kg: SQ - 252,5 kg, SQ w/ Wraps - 267,5 kg, DL - 307,5 kg, Total (w/ and w/o Wraps) - 710
@ 82,5 kg: SQ - 275 kg, SQ w/ Wraps - 277,5 kg, Total (w/ and w/o Wraps) - 772,5 kg

13th
Squat
5 x 20 kg
5 x 70 kg
5 x 90 kg
2 x 110 kg
1 x 130 kg
wanted to squat those 160 but my body was still destroyed from that one deadlift attempt.

Power Snatch
8 x 15 Kg
4 x 40 Kg
3 x 3 x 50 Kg
1 x 60 kg
2 x 1 x 65 kg both pressed out.

Clean Pull
5 x 80 kg
3 x 5 x 120 kg
4 x 140 kg to be fair, this was deadlifting.

At home:
Good Mornings
8 x 50 kg naah. not with that back.

Benchpress
5 x 20 kg
5 x 40 kg
8 x 2 x 50 kg mixed grips. speed work.

Dips
3 x 10

Push Press
5 x 40 kg
just for fun
Current PBs:
195 kg SQ, 130 kg Bench, 245 kg DL, 200 kg SQ w/ wraps

20th
Warmup complex.
Hang Power Clean
2 x 5 x 40 kg
4 x 50 kg
3 x 4 x 60 kg
2 x 4 x 70 kg
3 x 80 kg
2 x 90 kg
1 x 100 kg PB. Though not a hang power clean but a hang full clean. I received it high and then didn´t push hard, so at first it pushed me to the ground.

Snatch
5 x 25 kg
3 x 50 kg
3 x 60 kg
2 x 3 x 40 kg
Bullshit technique!

Front Squat + Jerk
2 x 3+2 x 70 kg
3+2 x 80 kg pressout I think.
2 x 3+2 x 70 kg

Tried snatch high pulls at home that day. Didn´t work at all.
Current PBs:
195 kg SQ, 130 kg Bench, 245 kg DL, 200 kg SQ w/ wraps

Long Term Goals:
@ 75 kg: SQ - 252,5 kg, SQ w/ Wraps - 267,5 kg, DL - 307,5 kg, Total (w/ and w/o Wraps) - 710
