Not vegan apparently... Lactose is used as a flavour carrier but not listed on the ingredients.

From the producer:

"Der X-Treme Protein Cruncher enthält keine tierischen Rohstoffe / Zutaten. Jedoch können produktionsbedingt leider Kreuzkontaminationen nicht ausgeschlossen werden, da auf den Riegelmaschinen verschiedenen Produkte produziert werden. Aufgrund dessen auch jene Angabe zu den geringen Mengen an Laktose."

And thru Google translate:

The X-Treme contains no animal protein Cruncher raw materials / ingredients. But unfortunately due to the production cross-contamination can not be excluded, since the bolt can be produced on machines different products. As a result, even those giving to the small amounts of lactose.

... so it actually is an evil anti-vegan rumour. http://www.vegetukku.fi sells those bars = I sell them.

I found the same page when I searched for info on the product. Someone should correct them since that error must have gone there by a translation error or something.

It's a good thing people are concerned though, since if they really did add ingredients without listing them, it would be something worth ranting.

edit: I sent the seller in the link an email and asked them to fix the false claim.

VitaminExpress made another inquiry to the manufacturer and they confirmed that the product is vegan but can contain traces because of cross-contamination.

They should fix the info on that aforementioned web page asap., I just got email from them.
