Bicep curls, am I missing something?

best? i guess it depends on how a person defines 'best'.

if you thinking of working the lungs for a long time id say cycling is a great way for anyone to do a 1-2 hour workout without taxing themselves too much

on the other hand if youre thinking of workouts thatll kill you in the shortest amount of time i've had 'success' with rowing and stair running. definitely great bang for buck

If by "best", you mean the most fun, then it is swimming... at least for me it is.

If you more clearly define your goals or what you like, you'll find what your "best" cardio is.

I know that for swimming, how "good" it is depends on technique. For poor swimmers, swimming often does little, but for excellent swimmers it is a total body workout.
"The worker has the right to leave his boss, but can she do it? And if she does quit him, is it in order to lead a free life; where she will have no master but herself? No, she leaves to sell herself to another employer. She's driven by the same hunger. Thus the worker's liberty is only a theoretical freedom, lacking any means of realization; an utter falsehood."

For most people, the best cardio exercise is the one that keeps you going, and that you'll continue doing for a long time.

Agreed with what everyone is saying about the best one being the one you can stick at for long enough to learn how to do it well, but for me stair sprints get a lot done in a little amount of time...

Fitness for what task?
