Hey hope you feel better soon! Plenty of rest and fluids should help :)

Thanks everyone. Feeling much better and did some Body Pump today, though more for the social aspect than the workout but couldn't manage cardio of any sort.

Tattoo healing nicely, peeling not scabbing and no itching to speak of. Love my healthy vegan skin.

Was still shaking off the cold/flu thing this week and healing the tattoo so no contact sport and actually only a little cardio.

Tuesday: Body Combat which was terrible, I'm going to stop doing it much in the next 3 months as I really don't like the latest release and use the Tuesday for a new beginners MMA class Fighting Fit is going to start offering and as soon as my tattoo is properly healed. I think I've forgotten the little I learned already.

Wednesday I deadlifted, only 75kg 5x5 as I'm pretty damn weak at the moment, could also be down to my current bodyweight of 52 kgs which is the lightest I've ever been, also and some overhead pressing, push-ups, KB renegade rows, pullups (3 woohoo!), planks.

Body Pump today and Body Balance afterwards, both of which were really intense on the legs.

Looking forward to going to the gym with Linnea and Cammo this weekend :D

Good you're feeling better! Well done on the pull ups and don't forget a 75kg 5x5 deadlift is near enough a 1.5 x body weight lift at 52kg, strong! :D

52kg bodyweight sounds sub-optimal at first, but if it allows a bump start to chin-up progress then you can build back up from there and we're all laughing...

Thanks Rach and Stoaty, you are right I should put it in perspective, however Linnea who is around my weight I think has a 115kg 1 rep max so I really must simply aim higher :-)

sonic, my new avatar is Arrietty from the Ghibli movie Karigurashi no Arrietty. I'm a diehard Studio Ghibli fan and I'm super excited that it will finally be released in the UK at the start of August, it's been out for ages but only in Japan and South Korea and obviously not subbed in English until now. In fact it's now so old that the newest Ghibli movie Kokuriko-zaka kara/From Up On Poppy Hill has just been released and I have even more to be excited about. You did ask

Thanks hoffmeister. Hey I really love your leg tattoos and I have found an artist who does something along those lines, I'd be booking immediately if it wasn't for the fact she's based in Milwaukee.

Ania Jalosinska

She did an AR tattoo for someone, here's an example of her work. Her colour tattoo images on her website are pretty astounding I find.
