Steep hill.....just when you don't want it. End of my 2nd marathon last week.

Finished!!

Loads of people in this area had never seen a Vegan Runners vest and I ended up talking about veganism to a number of runners too. That was early on in the race, later on I was mainly cursing to myself.

This is one of the few times I've ever gotten good swim photos.

Nice pics people, as usual!

These are just pasted over from my log, repping the Vegan Cyclists ;-)

Here's me just before starting the Orwell Walk - Completed 22 Miles (From Ipswich to Felixtowe and back) Quite gutted we didn't finish the 25 miles but had to drop out as Matt's feet were tore to shreds!

Loving everyone's pics by the way! :D xxx

Hey everyone!

Great photos Vee. I envy your sunshine and fields for running!

To compliment my ridiculously tiny avatar here are some of me playing roller derby.

First one is just me warming up (hence on track all alone!)

Second one is me trying to block the opposing jammer while letting our jammer through (jammers are the point scorers and have stars on their heads)

Third one is me messing with the other pivot for no immediately obvious reason (pivots have stripes on their heads and are in control of the pack):

At some point I'll post an explanation of the sport for anyone who is interested in my log!

Fingers cross this works as is my first time with both flickr and BBcode (Edit: trying again!)

quite interesting!

what are the two people on the right part of the picture doing (the one kneeling down and the other which is half visible)? it doesn't seem they are part of the competition!

I think one of them (the one on her knees) is filming.

The other one is one of many Non Skating Officials (NSOs) who help ref the game: I think that one is timing "jams" (kind of like a round) but they also penalty track and point score.

Hey Darcy-- I forget, are you with ARRG? I thought so, though I don't recognise your opposition in the second or third photos. Though I think I spy some Glasgow skaters sitting in the background of the third one?

Heya! Yeah I'm with ARRG. The third one is Glasgow. The second one is Perth, I've forgotten their name. They're pretty new.
