Turns out there's a few DeFranco videos of this test online. The only difference is I'm required to start lying flat on the floor, so I don't get the advantage from starting in a sprinting position unlike his NFL hopefuls.knackers wrote:Hey Andrew, good luck with the new career. I train self defence with some folks who are just about to enter the acadamy over the next couple of intakes. How do you feel about the shift roster? Ive been lookin into it myself but have been holding back due to the paycut
Well for me it will be a pay increase. But the shift roster is something I'll have to live with, plus there are a lot of pros in terms of paid leave that I won't get in too many other professions.
Having picked up some markers and running through the course a few times I'm currently beating it by 4-5 seconds. Working on my turns at each end and making a bigger drive on the last sprint will make a difference.
