Hi all,
I'm going on a touring trip in two weeks and I plan to ship my bike separately. The airline I'm flying with charges like $250 to carry a boxed bicycle. That is not something I'm willing to spend. I want to ship my bike from Washington, DC to Vancouver, Canada. I've heard that people have spent $50-$75 using a shipping company. Does anyone have any recommendations/personal experience/horror stories from a specific shipping company? Also, has anyone shipped to a post office or something of the sort? I don't want to burden the people I'm staying with of having to store two bikes temporarily. Any ideas?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian
