thanks knackers, it's all part of the plan to get my bench stronger than squat. if i can't do it by getting stronger on the bench i'll do it by getting weaker on the squat

thanks baldy. the comp was streamed live online and apparently up for a while afterwards, but i just checked and they've taken it down. there's an official nationals video which i'll try to get my hands on at some stage

not sure about better, i feel a bit like i'm wasting away and the strength loss isn't fun! (operation abs is an ongoing campaign)

dl.. 3x10 @ 60kg
squat (including 3 cleans and 6 oh presses).. 3x10 @ 75kg
db bench.. 3x10 @ 35kg
db tricep extension.. 3x10 @ 25kg
db curls.. 3x10 @ 20kg

missed thursday training due to general lack of time

bench.. 3x5 @ 125kg
dl.. 3x10 @ 112.5kg
squat.. 3x10 @ 87.5kg
ran out of time for assistance ugh.

you do reaslise some serious squattage is taking place whilst i am there!!!

and curling, but thats given.

at least we got some serious curls in :)

bench.. 6x3 @ 140kg
bench from short block with two sec pause.. 2x5 @ 130kg (last rep failed).. 5x125kg (last rep failed).. strange
oh press.. 6x70kg (mostly strict), 3x6 @ 80kg push press
deadlift.. 3x8 @ 130kg
db curl.. 3x10 @ 20kg
forgot to squat!

22/4 (fri)

third thursday in a row i missed training. something is wrong.. gym closed today. did some brief home training so as not get too far behind, will probably make up deads and squats on the weekend.

cg bench.. 6x6 @ 100kg
pullups.. 3x6 @ bw getting stronger on these this was pretty easy and i'm back to about 110kg now
db curls.. 3x8 @ 20kg
also earlier in the week sometime i did some light squats 3x8 @ 100kg and push pressing 3x6 @ 80kg

all the stores are closed for the death of jesus, even the jewish grocery store gave me no love, all the non pesach stuff, which was most of the store, wrapped in brown paper with pictures of spongebob squarepants drawn all over it. i didn't ask and left with a tub of mango sorbet which is all i've eaten all day. i'm hangry!

I feel your pain! Here in Ireland it's not even a public holiday but everything is closed.

paused bench off double blocks.. 3x5 @ 125kg
incline dumbell press.. 3x6 @ 35kg
dl.. 3x6 @ 140kg
squat.. 3x6 @ 110kg (warmups up to 90kg clean and pressed)

dl.. 3x6 @ 150kg
glute ham raises.. 3x10 @ setting 7:1
incline situps.. 3x12 @ bw
squat.. tried on jp's ironworks and they felt good. started off with 6x70kg, 3x110kg then singles at 130kg, 140kg, 150kg, 160kg and 175kg, was not super solid but much better than my airplane 172.5kg at the last comp, and bit more in the tank. still weak as all hell but slowly slowly starting to get a little strength back.
