Barcelona> Málaga along the east coast

Postby Superflor » Mon Apr 04, 2011 1:02 am

Will be travelling with my aunt in her camper from Barcelona back to my place in Málaga (as far as I know along the coast) in9 days time.

Been checking on good ole Happy Cow and like the look of Gopal and CatBar in Barcelona.

Any personal recommendations for places along this route-Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, Murcia, Almeria...

Cheers

I'd like to hear more about this JP and would enjoy seeing photos. No Pasaran! :D

barcelona was awesome :)

very touristy, but regardless, was a nice human size central area to walk around.

And so much history!

I went to a small guided tour walking around barcelona seeing all the historic spanish civil war sites, and hearing about the working class life and resistance and how they tried to build a totally new world economically and socially. So inspiring and moving!

Guided tour was from this guy, recommend him highly, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic:

food was good! My favourite place was Gopal - fully vegan activist run busy eatery, they had about 20 different burgers on offer, i ate 5 and 3 of them were excellent! Their chocolate mousse cake was out of this world too.

Juicy Jones was another fully vegan place which was brilliant, some hit and miss, but their milk shakes were awesome.

Had to eat at Maoz too of course...
